Numarine, the European high performance motor-yacht shipyard headquartered in Istanbul, offering a range of yachts from 19 to 45 meters, to unveil an entry-level model for the highly successful XP Series. The new 22XP yacht is a response to the clients’ demand for compact explorers.

Born to explore
We felt like the market wanted a smaller entry model than the 26XP we were offering to date,” says Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine. “The 22XP is a very sophisticated design and I’m glad she follows the footsteps of her larger “sisters”. She’s bold and futuristic and at the same time very elegant, and this is what our client like about our boats in addition to seaworthiness, safety and comfort on board as we use the best materials and technologies.
The company’s long-standing partners designed the boat inside and out. Can Yalman is responsible for exterior and interior, while Umberto Tagliavini took care of the efficient naval architecture. The new yacht has gigantic angular windows like the 26XP and 32XP, large social areas, spacious flybridge. Every detail shows she’s part of the XP Series’ pioneering DNA.
I would call her a mini-version of the 26XP,” explains Omer Malaz. “The new one has almost all the same features but inside a smaller hull. The 22XP’s interior is among the most voluminous for a 70-footer out there on the market. She’s a true mini-pocket explorer that can take you anywhere in the ocean.
The layout of the 22XP offers four spacious cabins, including a full-beam master suite. All of them are on the lower deck, filled with natural light. There are also a vast main deck saloon, open cockpit and a grand flybridge, one of the features that made the XP Series so popular among yacht owners.
We already have a few clients that are interested in the 22XP”, says Omer Malaz.

Numarine plans to start building the first unit of the 22XP later in 2020 on spec. The world debut is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021. More details of the new yacht will be revealed later during the year.
