Prebit, the lighting expert for the maritime market based in Rheinbach near Bonn, recently presented its latest creation, the portable THOA table lamp. It combines cool, elegant design with warm, cosy light to create a modern lighting solution for sophisticated living – perfect for the upmarket furnishings of a luxury yacht.
The THOA lamp is designed for long operating times and provides ideal lighting on board for many hours. It is charged by induction – without annoying cables or plugs. While the high-quality workmanship “made in Germany” makes the exterior of the lamp a real eye-catcher, the actual heart is the innovative dim2warm® lighting technology, which allows the light to be adjusted in a very special way. During dimming, not only the brightness of the light changes, but also the colour temperature: the further you dim the lamp, the warmer the light becomes. THOA thus has a light spectrum that ranges from cosy candlelight to a highly visible table spotlight.
As the icing on the cake, the whole thing can be controlled via app, so that dimming one or more luminaires is possible with the swipe of a finger.
